The all-day breakfast menu offers eggs with a multitude of garnishes and sides, and they are generous and mostly as described (although my baked eggs looked suspiciously poached). Breakfast variations include Spanish, Grecian, Italian and Middle Eastern eggs, alongside takes on Benedict and Florentine. Lunch offerings include burgers from the grill, a wide range of sandwiches and the popular tandoori chicken (with spinach, semi dried tomatoes, mango chutney, cheese and mayonnaise - $9.50).
If you’re looking for a café where the food is fast, and the barista doesn’t have a swag of awards, this is the one for you. A bonus of the classic sandwich bar style is a range of classic cakes, including a comforting caramel slice.
